Terms and Conditions
All dogs must be fully vaccinated. We will not accept any dog unless a certificate is presented on arrival or has been previously verified, that your dog has been vaccinated with a 5-1 vaccination within the last 36 months and vaccinated for Canine Cough within the last 10 months. These need to have been administered at least 10 days before arrival.
To protect the dogs in our care, we will not accept dogs for boarding unless a certificate has been sighted.
Please leave your dogs in the car on arrival until we have checked you in.
Please make sure your dog has been wormed within the last 3 weeks or no later than 2 days prior to boarding with a broad spectrum wormer.
Please ensure that your dog has been treated for and is free from fleas. If we need to treat your dog for fleas, we will need to charge you for the treatment.
Should any dog require veterinary care, all relative cost will be met by the pet owner.
Cancellations less than 3 days / 72 hours our will incur a cancellation fee of $75/ $150. e.g. weekend bookings of under 3 days $75, over 3 days $150.
Peak Periods other than Xmas/NY 3 weeks:
Cancellations less than 10 days our incur a cancellation fee of $150
Xmas/NY 3 weeks:
Managing Xmas and New Year takes a huge amount of work and we get a huge amount of enquiries and requests. Fitting bookings around each other can be very challenging when people shorten or cancel their stays at short notice. As such we will apply the following rules for changes or cancellations:
- A non-refundable deposit will apply to this period to confirm your booking.
- Full payment will be required by mid-November.
- Cancellations or changes after this time will incur addition fees.
- Shortening the booking by more than a day will also forfeit the deposit.
Delivery, Collection and Viewing
We have viewings at 1pm daily by appointment.
We have three delivery and collection times to choose from:
- 9am – 9.45am
- 1pm – 1.30pm
- 4.15pm – 4.55pm
Please ensure that you come within these times so that we have your dog all ready for you when you arrive. We have a lunch break between 12 noon – 1pm.
Deliveries and Collections before 8am and after 4.55pm will incur a $60 surcharge.
Extra Care Charge
Our main priority is the well-being of your dogs and a major part of keeping them fulfilled is the frequent group walks and social experiences. If your dog/s are unable to be socialised with others, please let us know and we can discuss this with you at the time of booking. Sometimes a kennel environment can be too stressful for a normally social dog to manage safely in a group situation. This may be the case with infrequent visitors. We endeavour to find the right group for all dogs to ensure they are safe and happy but if your dog requires individualised walks during their stay, we will let you know. In addition, if your dog is on heat/ about to come on or just finished heat during their stay and they are unable to be socialised the same charges will apply. As these dogs require individualised play and exercise time there will an ‘extra care’ charge to cover the additional staffing required to make sure that they all enjoy their stay.

Dogs in Season
Our aim is to provide an environment that is as stress free as possible for all dogs staying with us. For this reason we ask that you let us know if your dog is due to come into season (or was in season just prior to their stay). A surcharge may be charged if a dog comes into season during her stay with us.
Due to noise restrictions in our Resource Consent, we cannot board any dog that has a problem with barking. Any new dog staying with us, will either require a night’s trial or a contact person who can take the dog if such a problem arises. A full refund on any remaining prepaid period will be made in the event that a dog needs to be picked up by the contact person because of excessive barking.
We reserve the right to make suitable arrangements for any dog left in our care if contact is not made by the owner or their agent by 14 days after the agreed collection date.
A fee for repair or replacement will be charged for any damage caused by a dog. We consider our facility and management practices to be of the highest standards, therefore the very best professional care and expertise will be given to your dog during their stay with us. However, we accept no responsibilities for illness, injury, death or loss for any reason whatsoever.
We love to show off the high standard of our facilities so we reserve the right to take photographs that may include your dog for use on our marketing materials such as on our website and in printed brochures.
